Dr. Ryan Serra
Dr. Serra, a certified periodontist, specializes in the diagnosis, prevention, and treatment of periodontal diseases, as well as comprehensive dental implant therapy. Throughout his career, he has devoted himself to gaining a profound understanding of the intricate relationship between dental health and overall well-being.
Before relocating to the Sarasota area, Dr. Serra ran a successful private practice in Columbus, Ohio, for 12 years. During this period, he also shared his expertise by teaching clinical periodontology at The Ohio State University and delivering numerous informative lectures. Dr. Serra earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Michigan, a Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from the University of Pennsylvania, and a Master of Science in Periodontics from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill.
As a board-certified periodontist, Dr. Serra possesses specialized training in a wide range of periodontal procedures, including surgical treatment of periodontal diseases, periodontal regeneration, gum grafts, bone augmentation, dental implants, and more.
