All treatment plans will begin with a thorough cleaning from one of our hygienists, Katie and Janet, to get your teeth and gums back to baseline. Dr. Tindal understands that everyone he treats is completely unique, so he believes that dental care should always be specially tailored to a particular patient’s needs, goals, and budget. To do this, he takes a three-step approach with new patients that is proven to deliver results.

We find that this approach leads to a better patient experience and higher level of care because it enables us to get to know someone both personally and clinically. Patient education is a big component of it as well, because in our experience, a well-informed patient is usually a healthy one, too!

This method takes a little more time compared to your typical dental office that is trying to get patients in and out as quickly as possible, but we find that our patients appreciate the extra one-on-one attention and personalized treatment we provide.
Step 1
Initial Consultation
When you come to our office for the first time, before you ever sit in the dental chair, you’ll have a chance to meet Dr. Tindal, our entire team, and go on a tour of the office so you can immediately begin to feel comfortable. You’ll then sit down with Dr. Tindal who will ask you about your medical history as well as any pressing dental concerns you might have.

From there, you’ll discuss what you would like to accomplish with Tindal Prosthodontics. Are you looking to maintain, restore, or upgrade your smile? When both you and Dr. Tindal are both on the same page, you’ll move on to step two.
Step 2
Comprehensive Dental Evaluation
The goal of this evaluation is for Dr. Tindal to learn everything he can about the current state of your dental health. He’ll examine your teeth, gums, jaw, bite, and existing dental restorations as well as consult multiple diagnostic images and X-rays. Using his observations and visual-aids, he’ll put together a brief presentation to help you understand everything that is going on with your oral health. He’ll then make treatment suggestions based on the goals you outlined in the initial consultation. He’ll always give you multiple options so you can make the final decisions about your dental care.
Step 3
Start Treatment
All treatment plans will begin with a thorough cleaning from our hygienist, Katie, to get your teeth and gums back to baseline. From there, Dr. Tindal will carry out the plan you both decided on earlier. At any time, you can ask for things to be adjusted so they better suit you.

After you have scheduled an appointment with us, you can help yourself save time in the office by filling out our patient forms before you’re scheduled to come see us. Simply click on the link below and complete the forms at your leisure. When the day of your visit arrives, just bring the forms with you, and we’ll get you in to see Dr. Tindal right away!
